New rubber boots can be exciting for a youngster. Especially bright yellow ones. Jumping in puddles, trudging through the mud, finding earth worms on the sidewalk. How much fun can these bring for a 2 year old boy?

 

My son’s love for his new rubber boots created the inspiration for this coloured pencil drawing. When he first got them he didn’t want to take them off. He even wore them inside while playing with his toys.

 

Sweater in hand and ready to escape, he was then anxious to head outside and really try them out. It wasn’t even raining that day! ”Escape Artist” is great for a kids room, an office, or a living room.
